Location
Mediations can be conducted in person or by video-conference, based upon the parties’ preference.
Fees
The fee for a 4 hour mediation is $2,700, including 2 hours of prep time and pre-mediation telephone call(s) with the attorneys. The fee is split between the parties, unless a prior arrangement is agreed upon.
The fee for an 8 hour mediation is $5,000, including 2 hours of prep time and pre-mediation telephone call(s) with the attorneys. The fee is split between the parties, unless a prior arrangement is agreed upon.
Briefs
Parties are asked to submit mediation briefs limited to 15 pages, excluding exhibits, unless either party believes strongly it is necessary to deviate from this practice. Briefs should be submitted one week prior to the scheduled mediation. Attorneys are also invited to submit an executive summary with their mediation briefs. The executive summary is particularly useful where a party elects to submit a mediation brief in excess of 15 pages, or where extenuating circumstances cause the brief to be submitted after the submission deadline.
